We sold and installed these three rain caps. The caps we carry are stainless steel. We painted these black at the client’s request. These chimney rain caps have a lifetime warranty. Chimney caps serve three main purposes: they keep critters out, keep rain and snow out and therefore makes the chimney last longer, and the keep embers from flying out the top of the chimney. We carry these chimney caps on all our trucks.

We replaced this chimney yesterday. Security chimney in many places had the inner liner completely work away and in other places it looked like a bunch of tacos inside the pipe. Security chimney pipe was the top of the line chimney 30 and 40 years ago. It came with a 30 year warranty. This pipe is a bit over 40 years years old. Chimneys sometimes need to be replaced.

Pat Rael, on the left in the photo below, started at Bailey's in 2016 as an office assistant. He is now our highest rated, most productive field technician. He recently earned a Bachelor's degree, graduating summa cum laude. He completed his studies while raising three kids, coaching some of them in Little League all stars. He is also a founder at Prodigy Church in Taos, where he serves as Pastor. He and his lovely wife Menesha (she took this photo) have become expert nutritionists and health experts in recent years. Before Covid, the whole family enjoyed regular jujitsu sessions that they would take part in all together as a family unit.

To Pat's right is Jared Padilla, one of our newer hires. Jared does a great job as a helper and we are glad to have him on our team.

Pat and Jared are pictured in front of one of the three 4x4 pickups in our fleet that enable us to get to all of our jobs regardless of weather conditions.

This is our 3rd pro bono chimney installation this year. As the premium company in our market, many of our clients are blessed with lots of material resources. We do community service work because one of our core values is Making A Difference. This is “the house that love built” in Tres Orejas, near Taos. It was a pleasure to be able to take part in Angie Fernandez project of “manifesting a tiny house.” Great way to spend a very windy Sunday out on the Mesa. Angie now has the best chimney in her neighborhood.
